Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients of all ages quickly and accurately to prioritize care
• Stabilize and treat emergency presentations using evidence-based interventions
• Manage fast-track cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists and support staff to coordinate treatment plans
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families during stressful moments
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes thoroughly and timely
• Maintain readiness for a wide range of clinical situations and support unit throughput

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii RN license (required)
• Active Registered Nurse status with demonstrated Emergency Nursing experience
• Comfortable caring for all ages and diverse patient populations
• Experience in fast-track, pediatrics or adult emergency care (preferred)
• Willingness to work rotating day, evening and night shifts as needed
• Strong teamwork, clinical judgment and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage and emergency assessment skills for rapid decision-making
• Proficiency in emergency interventions and stabilization techniques
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients and multi-task under pressure
• Familiarity with pediatric and adult emergency care workflows
• Clear clinical documentation and handoff communication
• Collaborative approach with interdisciplinary teams
