Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on an inpatient unit
- Administer medications and treatments safely, documenting clearly and accurately
- Assess patients and communicate changes in condition to the care team
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and follow care plans
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and self-care
- Support discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions to the next level of care
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and uphold compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Current RN registration and ability to pass facility credentialing
- Previous acute care or medical-surgical experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and critical thinking to prioritize patient needs
- Medication administration and IV therapy familiarity
- Electronic medical record documentation experience
- Ability to work in fast-paced settings and manage multiple patients
- Team collaboration and clear communication with providers and families
