Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Block schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (4 days/week). Day: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Mid: 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM. Occasional weekends to help cover shifts. Shift type: Rotating (day/mid).
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment (GE, Siemens, Philips, Toshiba) to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Perform patient-centered care: prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort and safety
- Execute advanced imaging protocols including diffusion, gradient echo, perfusion, and multiplanar reconstructions
- Perform image post-processing and ensure accurate PACS/Epic documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to optimize imaging and support patient care
- Adhere to isolation precautions and facility safety guidelines to protect patients and staff
- Contribute to a positive unit culture by helping cover weekend shifts as part of the block schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience (1YR/1ST TIMERS OK)
- ARRT (MR) certification preferred
- BLS preferred
- Experience with Epic charting (charting system required)
- Comfortable operating GE, Siemens, Philips, and Toshiba MRI systems
- Experience with PACS and image post-processing (ADC mapping, subtraction, MRP)
- Ability to work in adult acute care and outpatient settings and assist with a 1:1 patient ratio when needed

- Magnetic resonance imaging techniques and safety
- Diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, and perfusion protocols
- Multiplanar reconstruction and advanced image post-processing
- PACS workflow and Epic charting
- Adult acute care and outpatient imaging workflows
- Anatomy and imaging of brain, head & neck, spine, abdomen, chest and breast
- Isolation precautions and infection control practices
