Shift Type: Block schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (4 days/week). Day: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Mid: 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM. Occasional weekends to help cover shifts. Shift type: Rotating (day/mid).

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment (GE, Siemens, Philips, Toshiba) to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform patient-centered care: prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort and safety
• Execute advanced imaging protocols including diffusion, gradient echo, perfusion, and multiplanar reconstructions
• Perform image post-processing and ensure accurate PACS/Epic documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to optimize imaging and support patient care
• Adhere to isolation precautions and facility safety guidelines to protect patients and staff
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by helping cover weekend shifts as part of the block schedule

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience (1YR/1ST TIMERS OK)
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred
• BLS preferred
• Experience with Epic charting (charting system required)
• Comfortable operating GE, Siemens, Philips, and Toshiba MRI systems
• Experience with PACS and image post-processing (ADC mapping, subtraction, MRP)
• Ability to work in adult acute care and outpatient settings and assist with a 1:1 patient ratio when needed

• Magnetic resonance imaging techniques and safety
• Diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, and perfusion protocols
• Multiplanar reconstruction and advanced image post-processing
• PACS workflow and Epic charting
• Adult acute care and outpatient imaging workflows
• Anatomy and imaging of brain, head & neck, spine, abdomen, chest and breast
• Isolation precautions and infection control practices
