Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging exams using GE CT scanners, ensuring accurate acquisition and patient safety
• Follow trauma and stroke imaging protocols quickly and accurately to support urgent patient care
• Document procedures and patient data clearly in Meditech for seamless team communication
• Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort during imaging
• Collaborate with radiologists, ED staff, and the CT team to prioritize and triage urgent cases
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, reporting issues to engineering to minimize downtime
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and departmental policies to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required
• BCLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant CT experience (Experience field lists 2)
• At least 1 year CT trauma experience required
• At least 1 year CT stroke experience required
• Pediatric CT experience preferred
• Familiarity with GE CT scanners and documentation in Meditech

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging physics and cross-sectional anatomy
• Experience with trauma and stroke CT protocols and rapid image acquisition
• Proficiency operating GE CT scanners (Apex 128, Revo 64 slice mentioned)
• Comfortable documenting and charting in Meditech
• Excellent patient communication and compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to work independently overnight and collaborate across teams
