Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures including LHC, PCI, PVI, PPM, EPS and select IR/neuro cases
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging systems (Philips & Siemens) and document procedures in Meditech and MacLab
• Ensure radiation safety and proper operation of panning x-ray tables during fluoroscopic procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses and techs to deliver smooth, patient-centered care
• Provide clear, timely procedure documentation and accurate case logging
• Mentor and educate less experienced staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond professionally to emergent cases

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• RCIS required (panning x-ray table experience expected)
• BLS and ACLS current certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of interventional/cath lab experience (Interventional experience is a must)
• EP and neuro experience preferred
• Comfortable working with Philips and Siemens imaging systems and using Meditech/MacLab EMR

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology expertise
• Familiarity with Philips & Siemens cath lab imaging systems
• Proficient with Meditech and MacLab electronic medical records
• Strong radiation safety practices and panning x-ray table operation
• Excellent team communication and peri-procedural patient care skills
• Ability to function in high-acuity, fast-paced procedural environments
