Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams across inpatient, ED trauma, portable and OR settings using best practices
• Operate and maintain portable radiography units, C-arms, and surgical imaging equipment with a safety-first mindset
• Provide high-quality trauma imaging support in the ED and assist during surgical radiography procedures
• Use Cerner RadNet to document studies, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure image availability
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians and surgical teams to deliver timely imaging that supports patient care
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Contribute to a positive team environment by being a reliable, self-motivated, team player

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification — required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, including portable and OR/trauma imaging (as posted)
• Proven experience with ED trauma imaging and surgical radiography preferred
• Comfortable operating C-arm equipment and performing fluoroscopic procedures (preferred)
• Strong patient communication skills and ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Diagnostic radiology techniques and protocols
• Portable radiography and operating room (OR) imaging workflows
• ED trauma imaging best practices
• Fluoroscopy and C-arm operation fundamentals
• Familiarity with Cerner RadNet EMR/imaging systems
• Patient safety, radiation protection and sterile imaging procedures
