Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to spinal, neuro and trauma patients, including post-surgical and complex trauma cases
• Use EPIC to accurately document assessments, interventions and patient progress
• Respond efficiently to trauma activations and emergency situations
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, physicians, therapists and interdisciplinary team members to create and implement patient-centered plans
• Care for patients with gunshot wounds, quadriplegia and paraplegia with compassion and clinical precision
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and ensure licensure is verified via Nursys
• Support patients and families through education, discharge planning and continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Nursys License Verification required; please upload verification to profile)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in spinal/neuro/trauma or surgical nursing in a similar-sized setting
• EPIC experience required—please note EPIC on your profile
• Required documentation on profile: work history/resume (no gaps >60 days), skills checklist, references, certification card, and badge-appropriate photo
• Comfort working with high-acuity trauma populations and complex surgical patients
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
