Roles & Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee pharmacy operations across assigned sites, ensuring safe, efficient medication distribution and high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with the system pharmacy leadership team to develop operational plans, analyze problems, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Assist the director of pharmacy in developing and implementing policies, procedures, quality assurance programs, and performance standards.
• Manage budgeting and financial oversight for assigned pharmacy sites, monitoring productivity and driving improvements.
• Lead hiring, performance management, staff development, disciplinary actions, and morale-building initiatives for pharmacy partners.
• Engage with medical staff and interdisciplinary committees to maintain strong collaborative relationships and support clinical initiatives.
• Work with information systems teams to optimize pharmacy information management systems, charge capture, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited college or university.
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent experience.
• Active Wisconsin pharmacist license required.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in pharmacy operations.
• Proven experience with policy and procedure development, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building experience; comfortable with financial oversight and budgeting responsibilities.
