Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care for medical-surgical and observation patients
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor vital signs, reporting changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient-focused care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments and discharge instructions
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) required
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience, with Medical-Surgical experience preferred
• Experience working in Observation (OBS) or similar acute care settings
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain prior to start

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and patient monitoring skills specific to med-surg and observation care
• Skilled in medication administration and accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients during busy night shifts
• Clear communication and teamwork with physicians, therapists and support staff
• Familiarity with electronic charting and hospital workflows
