Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies using established protocols to produce diagnostically useful images
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, including radiation safety and proper positioning
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment while coordinating with radiologists and the care team
• Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure timely image transfer to PACS
• Complete required Trinity skills checklists and specialty competency testing to demonstrate proficiency
• Adhere to infection control, vaccination, and health screening requirements to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with nurses, technologists, and physicians to support efficient, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Computed Tomography (CT) experience/credentialing (as applicable) and demonstrated CT scanning skills
• BLS certification required
• Ability to pass License/Certificate Verification
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Current immunizations and health screenings as listed (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA, fit test, physical/health statement, Trinity 10 panel drug screen, color vision)
• Comfort working weekend night shifts (Friday-Sunday, 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Radiation safety principles and dose optimization practices
• Patient positioning, IV contrast administration basics, and monitoring during studies
• Familiarity with PACS/DICOM workflows and electronic documentation
• Clear communication skills and teamwork in a busy clinical environment
• Attention to detail for quality images and accurate records
