Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours scheduled per week (typical day shift; specific start/end times vary by assignment). No block scheduling; requested time off must be submitted at upload (RTO up to 5 days allowed).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry continuously, accurately documenting rhythms twice per shift
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric cardiac/telemetry and med-tele patients
- Use EPIC to document assessments, care plans, and patient responses with strong attention to detail
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient-centered care plans
- Respond to patient needs promptly and reliably, with excellent attendance and professionalism
- Follow facility policies and state requirements for traveler compliance and documentation
- Maintain a safe environment through adherence to ACLS/BLS protocols and hospital procedures
Qualifications
- Current New York RN license (required)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience (required)
- Strong telemetry/med-tele and cardiac rhythm interpretation experience (required)
- EPIC experience - MUST HAVE (required)
- Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications (required)
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver license (required)
- Previous travel experience highly preferred
- Neuro/stroke experience highly preferred
- Verbal de-escalation training completed from Welle or CPI for onboarding (required as of 1/1/2024)
- Willingness to complete 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance and upload required compliance documents
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years and complete, accurate profile (work history, skills checklist, permanent address)
Education
- Not specified (RN licensure in New York is required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Proficient with EPIC electronic health record workflows
- Strong Med-Tele clinical assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to measure, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms consistently
- Familiarity with neuro/stroke care considerations (preferred)
- Effective verbal de-escalation and patient communication skills
- Detail-oriented documentation and compliance with facility requirements
- Team collaboration, time management, and dependable attendance
