Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans and imaging procedures with precision and patient-centered care
- Operate and troubleshoot GE imaging equipment to ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Prepare and position patients safely and compassionately for CT, MRI, X-ray and fluoroscopy as needed
- Document imaging studies and patient information accurately in Meditech EMR
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain imaging quality controls
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnosis
- Respond to on-call needs professionally and support night-shift workflow and patient throughput
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating clearly and assisting where needed
Qualifications
- ARRT-CT certification (must have)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (must have)
- Florida State DOH License (active and in good standing required)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant imaging/CT experience
- Experience with GE imaging systems and Meditech EMR strongly preferred
- Comfortable working night shifts and participating in on-call rotations (4-6/month)
- Strong patient communication, anatomical knowledge and mechanical aptitude
Knowledge & Skills
- CT scanning and imaging techniques
- Familiarity with MRI, X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures
- Operation and basic maintenance of GE imaging equipment
- Experience using Meditech EMR for imaging documentation
- Patient positioning, contrast administration awareness and safety procedures
- Radiation safety principles and quality assurance
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with a diverse clinical team
