Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations with care and precision
• Position patients safely and comfortably while ensuring excellent image capture
• Operate and maintain radiography equipment and digital imaging systems
• Apply radiation safety principles to protect patients, staff, and yourself
• Review images for technical quality and collaborate with radiologists for timely diagnosis
• Document patient information and maintain accurate records in compliance with policies
• Provide compassionate patient education and reassurance before and during procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to urgent imaging needs

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (or registry-eligible where permitted)
• State licensure for Radiologic Technologist (must be able to obtain NH state license if not already held)
• Minimum 2 years of radiology / radiologic technologist experience
• Ability and willingness to participate in on-call schedule and every 4th weekend rotation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and credentialing checks

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (or equivalent educational credential)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and cross-sectional anatomy
• Proficiency with digital imaging systems and PACS workflow
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate with technologists, nurses, and radiologists
