Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform fluoroscopic imaging and assist during interventional radiology procedures with precision and care
• Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring sterile technique and safety standards are met
• Monitor patient status during procedures and collaborate with physicians and nursing to deliver excellent care
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in Epic
• Float within scope to support like units as needed to meet facility demands
• Respond to on-call duties and weekend coverage as required, making sure patient care remains seamless

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• Familiarity with Epic charting (system used for documentation)
• Ability and willingness to work every-other-weekend and participate in on-call rotation
• Able to float within scope between like units to support department needs
• Active state radiologic technologist license required; pending licenses are not accepted

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and protocols
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy and imaging equipment
• Excellent sterile technique and infection control practices
• Patient positioning, monitoring, and procedure preparation skills
• Accurate documentation skills in Epic
• Clear communication and teamwork in a fast-paced, teaching-hospital environment
