Shift Type: Variable days, 3x12-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM); schedule includes every-other-weekend coverage and required on-call responsibilities (day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures and assist physicians during image-guided interventions
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring safety, informed consent, and comfort
- Operate and maintain fluoroscopy and imaging equipment within safety guidelines
- Document procedures and patient care accurately in Epic
- Adhere to sterile technique, radiation safety, and institutional protocols
- Float within scope to meet facility needs and support neighboring units when requested
- Respond to call assignments and support urgent procedural needs across the service line
- Contribute to a high-functioning team in a Level III trauma and teaching hospital environment
Qualifications
- ARRT registration required
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Ability to work 3x12-day shifts, every other weekend, and participate in on-call rotation
- Active, unencumbered state licensure (pending licenses are not accepted)
- Comfort charting in Epic and following facility policies
- Willingness to float within scope and follow manager direction on RTO
- First-time travelers are accepted
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent
- ARRT certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and instrumentation
- Proficiency with fluoroscopy principles and radiation safety
- Experience with Epic charting and electronic documentation
- Excellent patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care skills
- Ability to maintain sterile technique and assist in complex procedures
- Good communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced trauma center
