Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for residents in Skies HC and Rhb Ctr
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Document care and interventions clearly and promptly in the patient record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow individualized care plans
• Support patients and families with education, reassurance, and respectful communication
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges to maintain smooth unit flow

Qualifications

• Current and active RN or LPN license (Registered Nurse preferred) — ability to practice in New Mexico expected
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain upon hire
• Clinical experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or similar settings is preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to handle overnight clinical responsibilities and prioritize patient safety

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Familiarity with nursing procedures common to rehab and skilled care
• Ability to work independently during night shift and escalate concerns appropriately
• Good time management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
