Shift Type: Primarily day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, primarily Monday-Friday with occasional weekends as scheduled (Day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate cardiac cath and angio imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients and maintain a sterile field for interventional radiology and cath lab procedures
- Assist physicians during procedures by handling imaging tools, contrast, and supplies
- Monitor patient status and support ACLS/BLS protocols when needed
- Optimize radiation safety practices for patients and staff during fluoroscopic procedures
- Accurately document procedures, images, and patient information in the electronic record
- Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated patient care
Qualifications
- Current ARRT RT(R) credential (required)
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technologist license (required)
- Healthcare Provider BLS (required)
- AHA ACLS (required)
- One year of experience or training in a Cath Lab/Angio hospital setting preferred
- Comfort working in fast-paced interventional suites and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology procedures
- Proficiency with fluoroscopy and angiographic imaging systems
- Knowledge of sterile technique, vascular access processes, and contrast administration
- Radiation safety principles and dose reduction strategies
- Excellent patient positioning, monitoring, and communication skills
- Accurate documentation and familiarity with common healthcare EMR workflows
- Teamwork, situational awareness, and the ability to anticipate procedural needs
