Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiologic X‑ray examinations accurately and compassionately to support patient care
- Provide high-quality patient care and clear communication before, during, and after imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain radiography equipment while following radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Document procedures and findings accurately in the medical record system (EPIC experience preferred)
- Collaborate with the clinical team to prioritize studies and ensure timely, patient-centered imaging services
- Adhere to state and national certification standards (ARRT or Colorado LSO) and facility policies
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- ARRT (R) certification in Radiography preferred; OR current Colorado Limited Scope Operator (LSO) registration or ability to obtain prior to start
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required — may be obtained upon hire
- Experience with radiographic examinations and strong patient care skills
- EPIC experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Able to safely function in a high-altitude (≈8,000 ft) environment
- Willingness to commit to the contract term and start quickly (quick-start role)
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Knowledge & Skills
- Radiologic X‑ray examination techniques and positioning
- Patient care, safety, and radiation protection principles
- Familiarity with digital radiography equipment and image acquisition
- Clinical documentation best practices and electronic health record use (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills; Spanish language a bonus
