Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic X‑ray examinations accurately and compassionately to support patient care
• Provide high-quality patient care and clear communication before, during, and after imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain radiography equipment while following radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Document procedures and findings accurately in the medical record system (EPIC experience preferred)
• Collaborate with the clinical team to prioritize studies and ensure timely, patient-centered imaging services
• Adhere to state and national certification standards (ARRT or Colorado LSO) and facility policies

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• ARRT (R) certification in Radiography preferred; OR current Colorado Limited Scope Operator (LSO) registration or ability to obtain prior to start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required — may be obtained upon hire
• Experience with radiographic examinations and strong patient care skills
• EPIC experience preferred
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
• Able to safely function in a high-altitude (≈8,000 ft) environment
• Willingness to commit to the contract term and start quickly (quick-start role)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiologic X‑ray examination techniques and positioning
• Patient care, safety, and radiation protection principles
• Familiarity with digital radiography equipment and image acquisition
• Clinical documentation best practices and electronic health record use (EPIC preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills; Spanish language a bonus
