Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Follow individualized care plans to promote dignity, safety, and comfort
• Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
• Practice infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and coworkers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
• Support residents’ emotional needs and engage them in positive daily interactions

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Must be certified via Prometric Hawaii (Prometric Hawaii certification required)
• Ability to work all weekends as scheduled
• Willingness to work rotating shifts to meet facility needs
• Ability to work a 40-hour workweek

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification (Prometric Hawaii)

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience or comfort working in long-term care environments
• Strong patient care skills and knowledge of ADLs
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and team members
• Basic documentation and charting skills
• Good time management and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
