Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to inpatient rehab patients
• Administer IV therapy and manage infusion pumps safely and accurately
• Collaborate with PT/OT/SLP and the interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery
• Document care thoroughly in Meditech and maintain accurate clinical records
• Safely assist with patient mobility using mechanical lifts and safe transfer techniques
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns promptly
• Support unit policies, participate in weekend rotations, and contribute to a positive team culture

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience — Rehab or Med-Surg preferred
• BLS certification (required)
• Demonstrated IV therapy experience
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar EMR systems
• Comfortable using mechanical lifts and managing Baxter/Kangaroo pumps
• Wound care, stroke, or TBI experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Inpatient rehabilitation and med-surg clinical knowledge
• IV therapy and infusion pump management
• Wound care principles and pressure injury prevention
• Safe patient handling and mechanical lift operation
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage a 6:1 patient ratio when census requires
