Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary collections with care and a calm bedside manner
• Label, process, and handle specimens precisely to protect specimen integrity and patient safety
• Maintain clear and timely documentation in patient records and lab logs
• Prioritize patient comfort and communicate procedures in an approachable way
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and chain-of-custody procedures at all times
• Collaborate with nurses, lab staff, and providers to keep clinic flow running smoothly
• Float between clinic locations as assigned while maintaining consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; California State Phlebotomy Licensure preferred
• Current CPR certificate preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
• Reliable, professional, patient-focused, with strong attention to detail

• Basic infection control and safety procedures
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and lab documentation
