Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams (abdomen, chest, spine, upper and lower extremities) with precision and compassion
• Operate fluoroscopy and C-Arm equipment during surgical and mobile procedures, ensuring patient and staff safety
• Prepare and administer contrast media per protocol and monitor patients for reactions
• Provide portable imaging in the ED, ICU and bedside settings with excellent patient positioning skills
• Accurately document exams and clinical information in Epic and PACS for seamless continuity of care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, anesthesiologists and pediatric specialists
• Maintain equipment readiness and follow radiation safety and infection control standards
• Support teaching hospital activities — assist learners and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

• State license: Oregon radiologic technologist license (required)
• ARRT (R) certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Fluoro permit preferred (if available)
• Minimum 1 year of radiography experience — ideally in a large hospital setting similar to Providence Saint Vincent
• Comfortable with night block schedules and occasional on-call responsibilities
• Experience with Epic charting and imaging systems (GE, Philips, PACS) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiography fundamentals and advanced patient positioning for abdomen, chest, spine and extremities
• Fluoroscopy procedures and mobile C-Arm operation in surgical and procedural settings
• Contrast media preparation and administration with attention to safety and monitoring
• Portable imaging techniques for ED, ICU and bedside exams
• Proficiency with Epic charting and PACS image management
• Experience with pediatric and neonatal imaging is a plus
• Familiarity with enema, barium and upper GI studies, and trauma/imaging protocols
