Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Document patient care and charting clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Support safe transfers, admissions, discharges, and continuity of care
• Respond to emergencies and escalate concerns promptly and effectively

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
• Weekend availability with every other weekend required
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility
• Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to facility scheduling
• BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain if required by facility

Education

• Completed accredited LPN program or vocational nursing diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Patient assessment and monitoring during night hours
• Wound care and basic clinical procedures common to LPN scope
• Comfortable using electronic health records and charting systems
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond calmly in urgent situations
