Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs and resident observations
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
• Communicate clearly with the nursing team and families about resident needs
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Document care and changes in condition in a timely, professional manner

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• Comfortable working evening shifts and supporting a collaborative care team
• Professional, patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills
• Previous CNA experience is a plus and will help you hit the ground running

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (commonly required for CNAs)

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and safety
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control and proper use of PPE
• Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families and staff
• Ability to follow care plans and accurately chart care
