Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Assess patients regularly and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient care and progress clearly in the charting system
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and discharge plans
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN or LPN) in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working independently on night shift and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and reliable documentation habits
• Previous acute care or facility experience is a plus

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or LPN diploma as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
• Safe medication administration practices
• Accurate and timely documentation
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients during a shift
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
