Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and timely assessments to promote patient comfort and recovery
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while following facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update patient care plans
• Document clinical findings and interventions clearly and promptly in the patient record
• Monitor changes in patient condition and escalate concerns to providers when needed
• Support patients and families with education, empathy, and clear communication

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license (eligible to practice in Maryland)
• BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS or other certifications preferred where applicable
• Previous experience in a clinical care setting preferred (LTC, rehab, med-surg or similar)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-focused environment
• Able to safely perform job duties including medication administration and documentation

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN or equivalent) and active RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and safe handling practices
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Infection control practices and patient safety awareness
• Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Team collaboration and compassionate patient/family communication
