Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and function
- Document clinical findings and progress clearly and timely in the patient record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and self-management strategies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic performance
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license (New Jersey preferred) or eligible for state licensure
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or relevant degree in Physical Therapy; BS/BSPT considered
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Prior clinical experience in outpatient/rehabilitation settings preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy acceptable where applicable
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in musculoskeletal evaluation and therapeutic exercise prescription
- Familiarity with manual therapy techniques and modalities
- Strong documentation and clinical reasoning abilities
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with patients clearly
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and outcome measurement tools
