Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Hillcrest Center
• Perform thorough patient assessments and timely documentation in the medical record
• Administer medications and treatments safely and per facility protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and follow care plans
• Educate residents and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge plans
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate concerns to providers as needed
• Support a culture of safety, dignity and respect for every resident

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license (able to practice in Pennsylvania)
• Minimum one year of recent clinical nursing experience preferred (long-term care or med-surg a plus)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred where applicable
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and reconciliation
• Charting and documentation in electronic health records
• Infection control practices and safety protocols
• Effective communication with patients, families and clinical teams
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
