Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; rotating weekends and on-call (12-hour rotating day schedule)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist across a wide variety of surgical specialties, ensuring sterile technique at all times
- Prepare operating rooms, set up instruments and supplies, and verify equipment readiness
- Pass instruments and maintain accurate counts throughout procedures for patient safety
- Operate and troubleshoot specialty equipment including robotics when required
- Document intraoperative activity and patient information in Meditech EMR clearly and promptly
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, RNs, and perioperative staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies to maintain the highest standards of care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) — required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — required
- NH Medical Technologist License — required (no exceptions)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
- Demonstrated ability to scrub a broad range of surgical specialties
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
- Friendly, professional demeanor and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong surgical scrub and instrument handling skills
- Knowledge of OR workflows and sterile field management
- Experience with Meditech EMR for intraoperative documentation
- Comfortable with Orthopedics, Trauma, Neurosurgery, Robotics, General Surgery, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Podiatry and Dental cases
- Ability to operate and assist with surgical robotics and specialty instruments
- Excellent communication, organization, and situational awareness in fast-paced OR settings
