Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily non-clinical operations to keep things running smoothly and efficiently
- Communicate clearly with staff and leadership to support department needs and priorities
- Manage administrative tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and data entry with attention to detail
- Support process improvement efforts to create better workflows and a more productive workplace
- Assist visitors, patients, and staff with questions and directions, offering exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless handoffs and timely resolution of issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus depending on role
- Previous non-clinical healthcare or hospital experience preferred but not always required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a customer-service mindset
- Comfortable with basic computer systems and common hospital applications
- Ability to pass background check and any required hospital onboarding screenings
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute from day one
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional telephone etiquette
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and follow-through
- Basic understanding of hospital operations and patient-facing environments (preferred)
