Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret rhythms to keep patients safe and stable
- Provide skilled post-procedure care for TAVR, cardiac catheterization, ablations and WATCHMAN patients
- Manage and titrate cardiac drips per orders and unit protocols
- Perform pacemaker and CardioMEMS monitoring and respond to device-related events
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Allscripts
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team — charge nurses, PCTs and monitor techs — to maintain excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain patient ratios (1:4) while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Recognize and act quickly on STEMI and other cardiac emergencies
Qualifications
- Active RN license (eligible to practice in the U.S.)
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry or cardiac nursing experience
- BLS certification (required)
- Hands-on experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac drips
- Experience caring for patients post-TAVR, post-cardiac cath, ablations, WATCHMAN, pacemakers and STEMI care
- Comfortable using Allscripts for clinical documentation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Post-procedure cardiac care (TAVR, cath, ablations, WATCHMAN)
- Management of cardiac drips and hemodynamic monitoring
- Pacemaker and CardioMEMS familiarity
- STEMI recognition and rapid response
- Proficient clinical documentation in Allscripts
- Team communication and ability to work with charge nurses, PCTs and monitor techs
