Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends — Day shift 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (rotating day/night schedule that includes nights and 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert bedside care for critically ill adult patients in a 36-bed MICU
- Manage mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory support including BiPAP, CPAP and high-flow oxygen
- Perform and support invasive procedures such as intubation and chest tube insertion with confidence
- Titrate and administer complex IV vasoactive and sedative medications while monitoring hemodynamics
- Use advanced hemodynamic monitoring (including PA catheter management) to guide patient care
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document care accurately in Meditech and maintain clear, timely communication with patients and families
Qualifications
- Active RN license (ability to practice in Nevada or multistate compact RN)
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience caring for critically ill adult patients
- Demonstrated experience with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive drips
- Comfort with advanced ICU modalities such as CRRT, PA catheters, and targeted temperature management (TTM)
- Current travel nurse credentials and ability to complete facility onboarding for a travel assignment
Knowledge & Skills
- Mechanical ventilation management and ventilator weaning strategies
- Advanced hemodynamic assessment and vasoactive medication titration
- Proficiency with IV medication administration and rapid infusers
- Experience with CRRT and other ICU renal support devices
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation and charting workflows
- Competence in performing/assisting with bronchoscopy, EGD, colonoscopy support, line insertion, and wound debridement
