Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients’ functional mobility and develop individualized care plans
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to improve strength, balance, and mobility
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehab team members to coordinate care
• Document progress thoroughly and communicate outcomes to the care team and family
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and strategies to maintain gains
• Monitor safety and modify interventions to meet each patient’s changing needs

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in New Hampshire or eligible for licensure (must obtain prior to start)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced rehab setting; travel/contract experience a plus
• Strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication skills, and a team-first attitude
• Available for a 14-week contract (assignment runs January 5, 2026 through April 6, 2026)

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in orthopedic and post-acute rehabilitation techniques
• Proficient with therapeutic exercise progression, gait training, and ADL retraining
• Knowledgeable in outcome measurement tools and functional documentation
• Ability to teach safe body mechanics and home exercise programs clearly
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and maintaining accurate documentation
