Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (specific days to be confirmed with scheduler)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident observations
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Adhere to infection control standards and facility policies to keep everyone safe
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Active CNA authorization in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
- Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtainable upon hire
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living
- Knowledge of infection prevention and safe manual handling techniques
- Comfortable taking vital signs and observing/reporting clinical changes
- Team-oriented with good verbal and written communication
- Basic charting and documentation skills; ability to learn facility EMR
