Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care by assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions accurately and promptly
• Support nursing staff with bedside care, transfers, and safe positioning
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and the care team to promote excellent outcomes
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
• Document care and observations in the patient record with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — must be valid for Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or able to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working in long-term care/rehab settings and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to pass required background checks, drug screen, and health screenings (immunizations as required)
• Strong communication skills and a positive, patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Safe patient transfer and mobility techniques
• Basic infection control practices and safe use of PPE
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents and care teams
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
