Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to residents and families
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow facility care plans
• Help keep the environment safe, clean, and comfortable for every patient
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification for Pennsylvania (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working evenings and supporting a team-oriented environment
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient handling and safe transfer techniques
• Familiarity with infection control best practices
• Basic vital signs assessment and reporting
• Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Teamwork, empathy, and effective communication with patients and staff
