Shift Type: Schedule varies, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Assist with meal service and documentation of intake as directed
- Follow facility policies and infection-control procedures to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or able to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Previous long-term care or nursing home experience preferred, but new CNAs are welcome
Education
- CNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care standards and best practices in long-term care
- Skill in safe patient handling and infection-prevention techniques
- Ability to take and document accurate vital signs
- Good observational skills to notice subtle changes in a resident’s condition
- Basic charting and documentation skills; ability to follow care plans
