Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Assist with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, and feeding with dignity
• Support nursing staff with treatments and bedside care tasks as delegated
• Maintain accurate charts and follow care plans to ensure continuity
• Practice infection control and maintain a safe environment for patients

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Active or eligible for Pennsylvania CNA listing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Current immunizations per facility policy and ability to pass background/health screening
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Dependable, professional, and patient-focused attitude for evening care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Vital signs measurement and basic observational charting
• Infection prevention and safe patient handling techniques
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
• Time management and ability to prioritize during busy shifts
• Basic electronic charting or familiarity with clinical documentation
