Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitor and record vital signs and changes in patient condition, reporting concerns promptly
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
- Support a positive resident experience by promoting dignity, respect and comfort
- Accurately document care activities and observations in the patient chart
- Collaborate with nurses and the care team to support individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Comfortable with hands-on patient care and physical tasks such as lifting/assisting
- Local candidates only (within commuting distance) as specified in the order
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of basic nursing care and ADLs
- Ability to take and report accurate vital signs
- Infection control best practices and safe hygiene techniques
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
- Teamwork mindset and flexibility in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Basic charting and documentation skills
