Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in resident condition
- Support safe transfers and fall-prevention practices with attention to detail
- Work collaboratively with the care team to implement individualized care plans
- Contribute to a positive, respectful environment for residents and families
Qualifications
- Active LNA license (New Hampshire or Vermont) — required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working the 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM night shift
- Reliable local candidate able to work every other weekend and occasional holidays
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant (LNA) program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing care and resident assistance
- Vital signs measurement and documentation
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Safe resident transfer and mobility support
- Clear, professional communication with residents, families, and staff
- Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy care setting
