Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility to promote dignity and comfort
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident observations
• Support safe transfers and positioning, following facility protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and multidisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Comfortable working a day shift schedule; punctuality and reliability are a must
• Compassionate communicator who can connect with residents and team members
• Prior experience as a CNA is a plus, but motivated newcomers are welcome to apply

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of resident care and assistance with ADLs
• Measuring and documenting vital signs accurately
• Basic infection control and safety practices
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Teamwork, time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Respectful, empathetic approach to working with older adults and families
