Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in the Bel-Aire Center
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document all care accurately
• Assess patient condition and report changes promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary staff to create person-centered plans
• Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Maintain clear, timely charting and follow facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — active license required
• Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification recommended where applicable
• Comfortable working a long day shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and able to perform physical aspects of nursing
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Local candidate (LOCAL ONLY) — must be able to work on-site at the Bel-Aire Center

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN program or equivalent practical nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical nursing fundamentals and basic patient assessment
• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Effective communication with residents, families, and care teams
• Time management and ability to prioritize care in a busy clinical environment
• Basic familiarity with electronic charting and point-of-care documentation
