Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care and assistance with activities of daily living to promote resident comfort and dignity
• Take and record vital signs accurately, reporting notable changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility while following proper body mechanics and safety protocols
• Document resident care and observations clearly and timely in the facility records
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification — VT/NH recognized as indicated in the job posting
• Ability to work the scheduled day shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• Local candidates preferred/required (LOCAL ONLY noted for this opening)
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background checks, and required health screenings

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and best practices for resident care
• Skilled in taking vital signs, basic charting, and observing/reporting clinical changes
• Familiarity with infection control principles and safe patient handling
• Ability to work well in a team, prioritize tasks, and manage time during busy shifts
• Compassionate interpersonal skills and the ability to support residents with respect
