Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, mobility and toileting needs
- Monitor, record and report changes in resident condition accurately and promptly
- Collaborate closely with the nursing team to support individualized care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean and respectful environment for residents
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents and their families
- Support facility routines and participate in team huddles to improve care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Reliable local transportation — this is a LOCAL ONLY opportunity
- Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and ADL assistance
- Infection control and safety procedures
- Accurate charting and documentation
- Effective communication with residents, families and clinical staff
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks during a busy shift
- Teamwork mindset and adaptability
