Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in the Hopkins Center area
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status, escalating changes promptly
• Administer medications safely and document treatments accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with facility policies
• Support patient throughput by assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania
• Active BLS certification required, ACLS or specialty certifications encouraged
• Prior clinical experience as an RN preferred; travel nursing experience is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and ability to multitask
• Reliable professional references and ability to pass background and health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation standards
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in fast-paced settings
