Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents and ensure their comfort and dignity
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
• Perform routine assessments and promptly report changes in condition to the care team
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in resident charts and electronic records
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Support residents and families with clear communication and emotional support
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes as needed

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) required
• Comfortable and experienced working the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shift
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN / Practical Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
• Medication administration and accurate charting
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy care setting
• Compassionate resident-centered care approach
