Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document responses promptly
- Monitor resident condition, recognize changes quickly, and escalate to providers as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and follow individualized care plans
- Support rehabilitation goals through hands-on nursing and encouragement
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies and regulations
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (required)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing environments preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and medication administration expertise
- Skilled in wound care, IV checks, and rehab support (when applicable)
- Strong documentation and electronic charting abilities
- Comfortable working nights and managing multiple patient needs
- Collaborative communication with therapists, physicians, and families
