Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct nursing care to residents, focused on dignity and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform patient assessments and document changes in condition promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and follow care plans
• Support residents with activities of daily living and mobility assistance
• Communicate clearly with families and facility staff to ensure continuity of care
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe care environment

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — Massachusetts license preferred
• Active BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable administering medications and following physician orders
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Competent in resident assessment, documentation, and care planning
• Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced long-term care or rehab setting
• Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
