Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patient mobility, balance, strength and functional needs to establish individualized plans of care
- Develop and implement evidence-based physical therapy treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
- Deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise, progressing interventions based on patient response
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient-centered care
- Document patient evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs and safe mobility strategies
- Monitor outcomes and adjust treatment plans to meet functional goals and facility expectations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license (able to work in Maine or obtain temporary licensure prior to start)
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Comfort working in a fast-paced contract environment and adapting to varied caseloads
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Previous outpatient/rehab experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master of Physical Therapy considered
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and mobility training
- Knowledge of functional outcome measures and documentation best practices
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals
- Familiarity with safety protocols for transfers and fall prevention
- Strong clinical reasoning, time management and interpersonal skills
