Shift Type: Night shift, days vary, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for geriatric residents
- Assist with safe transfers, mobility support, and fall prevention measures
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and changes in resident condition
- Document care accurately and timely in the facility charting system
- Communicate clearly with nurses, therapists, and family members to support coordinated care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control best practices
- Support residents emotionally and socially to promote dignity and quality of life
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification or equivalent training as required by the state
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working with older adults and supporting geriatric needs
- Must be able to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Reliable, punctual, and able to lift/assist residents as needed
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification or completion of a recognized nursing assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with activities of daily living assistance and safe patient handling
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation skills
- Understanding of infection control and resident safety practices
- Good communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff and families
- Basic charting and ability to follow care plans accurately
- Compassionate bedside manner and patience for geriatric care
